RemoteScan now supports ISIS® Enabled Applications in Citrix® and Terminal Services Environments.

Missoula, Montana, November 5th 2007 -- RemoteScan Corporation today announced the release of RemoteScanUniversal™, which allows users in Citrix® or Windows® Terminal Services environments to scan from any ISIS® enabled application directly into any hosted software application.

"Our customers who have high-end scanning demands, have asked for a way to use their ISIS enabled applications in RDP and ICA (Terminal Services and Citrix) environments, and we listened," says RemoteScan's CTO, Glenn Kreisel, "With RemoteScan's new product, the investment in any ISIS enabled application is not lost when those applications become hosted on a Terminal Services or Citrix server."

RemoteScanUniversal™ is the correct choice for enterprise network environments, many of which have mixtures of scanner models, and the need for a hassle-free way to streamline the scanning of IDs and documents directly into several different record management systems. RemoteScanUniversal contains the complete functionality of RemoteScanTS/CX, and supports all TWAIN or WIA compatible scanners, and thus works with any software application which has scanning capability. In addition, RemoteScanUniversal includes RemoteScan ShareCamera and RemoteScanTemplates for the auto-configuration and administration of scanner resolutions and settings across enterprise networks.
