RESPONSOBILITES AND JOB DESCRIPTION
1. Answer technical support lines in downtown Missoula office.
2. Provide first level customer phone technical support.
3. Provide first level customer email and job ticket support.
4. Provide first level customer forum post support.
5. Provide customer support with set up and installation of RemoteScan software.
6. Add to and improve our product FAQ’s, forum posts, and support documentation.
7. Identify customers who need support renewal and refer to sales support staff.
8. Route technical issues according to level of complexity.
9. Work well with senior level technical support, including responding in a timely and professional way to all instructions, both written and verbal..
10. Help sales and marketing staff with pre sales technical explanations of product to help sell our products.
11. Evaluate license transfer requests and grant or deny license transfer requests based on established criteria.


Skills to demonstrate and acquire within the probation period (90 days from start date):
1. Learn all versions of Windows Terminal Services well enough to help support our customers who use RemoteScan with Terminal Services.
2. Learn all versions of Citrix well enough to help support our customers who use RemoteScan with Citrix.
3. Demonstrate ability to support installation of scanner drivers onto remote customers PCs and workstations.
4. Demonstrate full understanding of functionality of RemoteScan products..
5. Demonstrate full understanding of RemoteScan Web site tools, including tools used by customers and tools used by RemoteScan staff.
6. Demonstrate professional ability to support RemoteScan products, including support of installation, pre-sales technical support, and license transfer issues.
7. Demonstrate ability to work well with other RemoteScan staff, including technical, sales and marketing staff.

• Must keep all company information regarding trade secrets, revenue, customers and company operations confidential (information that is on public web site is non-confidential, all other RemoteScan information is highly confidential and is not to be shared with anyone).
• Must keep all company logins and passwords confidential.
• Must never remove company physical property from company offices.
• Must never take or remove (either by electronically copying, emailing, posting, printing, etc.) any company intellectual property (source code, database data, internal correspondence or memos, etc.) from company offices or company computers or company servers or company databases.
• Must maintain an over-all good citizen standing. Because that our company prides itself with being part of the Missoula community, and because our world-wide customer base includes many security conscious customers, including government, financial, medical and military customers who have reasonable security concerns regarding anyone who might have access to computer code that is installed on their computers and networks, we require that each of our employees have and maintain a clean police and legal record, such as would be required of a public school teacher or a legal professional.

NDA (non-disclosure agreement): As is required by virtually all technology companies, you will be expected to sign a standard non-disclosure agreement before beginning employment. This will be an agreement that you will not share any of our trade secrets with anyone during your employment and for a standard time period (three years) past the end of your employment, and that you do not work in any capacity for any of our competitors for a standard period (three years) after the end of your employment with us. However, in Montana we have no competitors.
